Ray Bradbury is most famous for his science fiction stories, such as those found in S is for Space, and The Martian Chronicles. He also wrote the horror novel Something Wicked This Way Comes.
Probably one of his most famous novels is Fahrenheit 451 . It is classified as a science fantasy because it takes elements of a society that is recognized by the reader's experience and presents it as a warning of a world that has chosen to shun books and the knowledge to be gained therein--all for the almighty television (technology). In an age of iPods and flat screen televisions, Bradbury's novel is as relevant to its readers today, as it was when first published in 1954.
